Our mission

Our primary goal is to make physical activity accessible and enjoyable for everyone, this is why we like the name – We Move Budapest. We organise hiking and other sport (and a lot more) events which are all led by our members. They are open to the public in Budapest & all around Hungary. We create learning and mobility opportunities for Hungarian youth around Europe through Erasmus+ partnerships.

Our story

2014We meet at the University of Physical Education and something wonderful starts.
2017-11ISAB becomes BAIS and is now officially recognised as an NGO.
2020-02A Sport event coordinator and Youth project coordinators join our team.
2020-11We are looking for our first-ever employee to join our team!

Budapest Association for International Sports (BAIS) is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization with the mission of promoting physical activity, healthy lifestyle and intercultural understanding through sport-based non-formal education. We both focus on local activities for internationals living in Budapest and working on international cooperations like Erasmus+.

Trainings and workshops

We love to encourage our members to participate in conferences, in seminars or other learning opportunities and to organise their own. This approach would be just the same to our employees.

How can the employees affect the company’s life?

We are a young, volunteer based NGO. We have an open platform to share ideas and thoughts and we would love to see you taking a lead on an initiative that is important to you!

Why we love our office

We all work from home and collaborate online! Sometimes we work together in cafés or in open spaces. A huge goal for us is to open a small office in the near future where we can comfortably work together. If you don't mind working from home, you will love working with us.
